The Marcus Garvey Park Alliance (MGPA) is a not-for-profit organization made up of neighborhood people determined to elevate our beloved park and uplift the community we call home.

Our mission is to create a safe and welcoming haven for all, fostering a sense of gratitude and togetherness. Through a myriad of initiatives, we aim to enrich lives, enhance green spaces, and provide accessible programs for people of all ages.

MGPA partners with government institutions and local organizations, including the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation, Mount Morris Park Community Improvement Association, 125th Street Business Improvement District, the Harlem Neighborhood Block Association, Harlem Park to Park, Marcus Meets Malcolm, Jazzmobile, City Parks Foundation, Harlem Grown, and with local community<br /> leaders, in order to continue to provide a safe and beautiful space to gather.
