The Community Flower Gardens are a collaboration between community residents and community owned businesses. Community volunteer gardeners are planting, mulching, weeding and watering the flower beds along the Avenues on both sides of the park. These sidewalk beds were mostly empty and in the spirit of Parks Without Borders we are extending the park beyond the perimeter fences and into the community.
Everyone is invited to get involved. No gardening experience is required and we encourage you to bring your children and grandchildren to our volunteer planting days.
